As entrepreneurs and leaders, we are writing the next chapters of both our lives and the evolutions of our businesses. In this adventure, we all need guidance and help from time to time. But where do leaders turn when they need practical help and personal coaching?

To discuss this necessity, I (Daniel) interviewed Jay Cordova and Kaylin Cordova, the Co-Founders and coaches of PRPL Pineapple. As a couple working together, Jay and Kaylin bring a unique package to the leadership consulting and coaching space. In our discussion, they share about balancing the savage with the sage as entrepreneurial parents, the intentionality of rest, revenue and relationships, knowing when and where to ask for help, and much more. One of the most important points? You are not alone.

There’s all these other moments where you’re like, ‘Ah. Something is coming on, something’s different. How should I respond as a result of what I’m feeling and what I’m sensing?’ And then, ‘What’s my best self? How do I show up my best self in that process? When do I ask for help?’
— Jay Cordova

Why the name PRPL Pineapple? Like most organizations, they wanted their name and brand to represent their team culture and the personalities behind the magic. Purple combines the calm stability of blue and the fierce energy of red. The purple color is created by combining a strong warm with a strong cool color, the color retains both warm and cool properties. Like their team, the color purple represents a boost in ideation, imagination, and inventiveness (creativity).
