As leaders, we want to have core values that matter and that are being lived out. However, we don’t want to police values or try to enforce them in unnatural manners. So how do we encourage and cultivate an environment in which our core business values are evident, tangible and meaningful?
To talk about how his company has addressed this need, I (Daniel) interviewed Jake Miller, Founder and CEO of The Engineered Innovation Group. Jake and I talked at length about living and breathing core values, not just having them on a wall somewhere. He shared how he purposefully but naturally integrates adopting an abundance mindset, encouraging insatiable curiosity, and fostering true trust in relationships. Jake also opened up about admitting ego, tempering anger, and setting people up for success.
